Terms of Use

By creating an account or using ColiGo, you agree to the following terms.
1. What ColiGo Is
ColiGo is a platform that connects people who want to have a package shipped ("senders") with travelers who have space in their luggage ("travelers"), on international routes anywhere in the world.
ColiGo is not a carrier. We never take possession of packages, do not guarantee any delivery, and are not a party to the agreement between the sender and the traveler. That agreement — including payment for the transport — is made directly between users, at their own risk.
2. Registration and Verification
You must provide accurate, up-to-date information. A complete profile and an approved identity verification are required before you can post a listing or contact another user — this is a safety measure for the whole community, not an option.
3. Prohibited Items
Certain items can never be shipped through ColiGo (illegal goods, weapons, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, etc.) — see the list shown in the app when you post a request. You are solely responsible for the contents you hand over or agree to carry, as well as for any applicable customs formalities.
4. Payments
In-app purchases: ColiGo sells credits and subscriptions for using the platform (posting more listings, contacting more users, featuring a listing). These purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play under their own terms.
Payment for transport: the amount agreed between the sender and the traveler for shipping the package never passes through ColiGo. You choose how and when to pay, at your own risk. We recommend caution, and never paying the full amount before the package is handed over.
5. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ColiGo disclaims all liability for the loss, damage, delay, or customs seizure of a package, as well as for any dispute between a sender and a traveler. The platform is a matchmaking tool; the conduct of the shipment remains the sole responsibility of the users involved.
6. Expected Conduct
Respect other users, do not post misleading content, and report any suspicious behaviour through the app's built-in reporting feature. We reserve the right to suspend or close an account that violates these terms.
7. Reviews and Ratings
After a shipment, both parties may leave a review. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience; fake or abusive reviews may be removed.
8. Intellectual Property
The ColiGo name, logo, and app content belong to ColiGo and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply to it.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; significant changes will be communicated to you in the app.
